If we are assigning responsibilities to a User, who did not had any access to any responsibilities earlier, then Password Reset needs to be done for the User after assigning the Responsibilities.

Now Steps are the following to reset the password in Oracle:

Step 1: Navigate to System Administrator->Security->User->Define as shown below



Step 2: Query the name of the User whose password needs to be reset 


Step 3: Enter the new Password in the Password field and press TAB

    You can see in the lower part of the window to Re-Enter your password to Verify and the Password field changed to Yellow, or Mandatory requirement to re-enter the password.

Step 4: Press on Save Button. You can see a message that Transaction Complete: 1 record applied and saved.

Now you can give the new password to the user by mail or by any means.
